Following each cultivation cycle, restoring the farm to optimal condition is vital, with sludge removal being a key component. This process involves the thorough extraction of accumulated waste, which, if neglected, can degrade water quality and harm shrimp health. By simultaneously treating water and soil to rebalance critical parameters and maintaining essential equipment, we ensure that the farm is fully prepared for the next cycle, thereby promoting sustainable and high-yield shrimp farming.
We conduct thorough data collection and regular testing of water and soil, closely monitoring factors like pH, salinity, and nutrients to maintain optimal conditions for shrimp farming. Frequent water tests allow us to swiftly correct any imbalances, ensuring a stable environment for shrimp. Soil evaluations, carried out consistently, check for organic content and contaminants, keeping the substrate healthy and supportive of shrimp development. This ongoing analysis and adjustment process is essential for preserving high water and soil quality, enhancing shrimp growth and reducing disease risks.
We rigorously select shrimp fries, exclusively sourcing from certified hatcheries known for their superior genetics and disease resistance. Each fry batch is carefully screened, ensuring that only the healthiest and strongest are chosen for cultivation. This careful selection process ensures a resilient stock, leading to higher survival rates and premium shrimp quality in our aquaculture practices.
Our shrimp aquaculture adheres to a strict Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), refined over the years for optimal results. These proven protocols guide every aspect of farming, from feeding to water management, ensuring consistency and quality. Management closely monitors operations to guarantee full compliance with the SOP, maintaining high standards and continuous improvement in shrimp production.
FDI Global is committed to environmental responsibility in shrimp aquaculture, implementing sustainable practices to protect and preserve the ecosystem. Our operations are designed to minimize impact, ensuring a balance between production and ecological care.
